I'm so minimalist that I haven't even bothered to theme my blog [yet]
Simplicity and functionality are things that I like and overall I'm just plain lazy.
I assume this is a side effect of growing up on the internet
where complete customization had already seemed to be long since done away with.
Perhaps that's played a role as to why I haven't yet bothered to tinker with the CSS or HTML of this blog aside from using it for formatting and adding in hyperlinks to my tags. Don't get me wrong, I'm still passionate for the indie-web movement and the ideals of creating a personal website or using a platform that gives the user freedom to make their online presence their own. However, as much as I've tried to get into it I feel too indecisive to ever settle on design aspects
I like or stick with them for long thus I find myself lacking energy to devote to it.
Most folks are happy staying situated on the big corporate web since it's seamless, simplistic and works. That's one of the reasons i find it hard to budge. This doesn't stop me from the desire to decorate my Spacehey to the nines and give this blog more soul, I've even thought about building out a fully fledged Neocites too. But when I've tried to theme something or make a site it inevitably becomes a disappointing sapling of code that has withered up. I most likely do have the energy however the problem might just be down to not being able to convert my willpower into action. Regardless I'm going to make the most of my minimalistic set up and at some point in the future I'm sure I'll be keen to customize it.
